 wedding glassesBooks:

  1. The Holy Bible. What can be said that has not already be said. This book is my compass, my inspiration and my daily guide. It contains the mind of God, the course for man and the hope of eternity. If you never read any other book – you should read the Bible cover to cover every year.
  2. The Writer’s Art, by James J. Kilpatrick. This is by far the best book I have ever read on the craft and art of writing. Jackson’s classic examples and practical approach is a joy to read. William Buckley said that if a book like this was written about math he could aspire to be an accountant.
  3. Wild at Heart, John Eldridge. Eldridge capably explores the core of man’s deepest needs and desires. His writing resonates with man’s desire to explore, experience and pursue. Raised by an outdoorsman, Wild at Heart brought back vivid memories of my youth.
  4. A Touch of Wonder, Arthur Gordon. Gordon spent many years writing inspirational stories for Guidepost magazine and A Touch of Wonder is a collection of some of his most inspirational and moving stories. I have given more copies of this book away than any other.
